how to be happy - some exercises to make you happier
I got the idea for the above cartoon after reading ":59 seconds - think a little change a lot" by Richard Wiseman. I had heard of this idea a few years ago, but reading the book brought it back to mind.
If you hold a pencil between your teeth, it forces the mouth into a smile. You can also try holding the pencil between yours lips - try it and see how it makes you feel.
The book is full of interesting ideas about how you can make a quick change to your life with a simple action. It covers areas such as happiness, stress, relationships etc and offers some practical techniques to help in a minimum of time.
